York County Racing Club Hall of Fame
 

Background Information about the night...

On January 6, 2007 at the York County Racing Club's 25th
Annual Hall of Fame Awards Banquet three long time associates
from the Port Royal Speedway was inducted into their Hall of Fame.

Inductee's included past President of the Juniata County Agricultural
Society, Gerald Clark, a past driver who was a household name at the
Port Royal Speedway - Johnny Grum, and Juniata County Agriculture's
Board Member Sue Pontius were all honored by the York County Racing Club.

Guest speaker for the evening's ceremonies was Jack Hewitt, well-known
and accomplished driver of sprint, USAC, and Indianapolis 500 racer in 1998.
In 1999 he was named one of the 25 greatest sprint car drivers of the 20th
century.  Jack filled in for the late Benny Parson's who became ill shortly
prior to the banquet.
