(Plus 20 Appearance Points)

Points will be awarded to drivers only.  If the event is deemed
a non-competitive point race, all cars entered will receive
50 appearance points.

Heat Starting Position

All drivers that have competed in the last two regularly scheduled race
meets and those drivers who have competed in at least one race during the
current season and are driving a car that has competed in the last two
regularly scheduled race meets will start at the front of the qualifying heats
by inverted point average (the driver having the lowest average points per
appearance will start first in the first head, second lowest average points
first in the second heat).  The remaining drivers will start behind the first
group heads up on the basis of the number of race meets entered by car or
driver and by point average.  (Drivers with same number of races entered
will start with highest point average first to lowest point average last).
To hold point average for heat race, you can't race at another track
on any given day.

Consolation Starting Position

All non-qualifiers from the heats will be started in the consolation(s)
in the order in which they finished heats.  If no consolation is required,
heat non-qualifiers will start the feature behind the qualified cars in
the order they finished the heats.  Cars that were not in attendance prior
to the start of the last qualifying event are not eligible to start the feature.

Feature Starting Position

An announced number of cars will be handicapped from each heat
event.  The cars that competed in the last two regularly scheduled race
meets and finished the qualifying heats in a handicapped position
will start at the front of the feature race by inverted point average.
Any remaining cars that finished heats in a handicapped position
will start behind the first group on the basis of the number of race
meets entered and point average.  The remainder of the heat qualifiers
will start directly behind the handicapped cars in heads up order by
heat finish.  The consolation qualifiers will start behind the heat
qualifiers in heads up order by consolation finish.

Although points are kept for drivers only, the car qualifies for
feature race.  Any registered car may be driven by any eligible
driver under the following stipulations:

1)  Drivers cannot change cars during any one racing event.

2)  A driver may change cars, but in doing so he must forfeit
his eligibility to drive the original car and relinquish the qualifying
position held by the original car.

3)  Drivers changing cars must start at the rear of the next
scheduled event.

4)  Any driver change must be reported to his pit steward
prior to the start of the event.

The number of consolations required is determined by the
number of cars available to race when the consolation
line-up is made.

All drivers must attend drivers' meetings.  Race cars are to
be signed in 15 minutes before practice laps begin.

Qualifying heat line-ups will be made during the warm-up period
for each division.  Cars not in attendance prior to warm-up time
will be placed at the rear of the heats.  (Notification that a car is
in transit but will be late will preserve the normal heat starting
position for that car).  In order to maintain the same number of
participants in each heat, cars desiring to change heats due to
difficulties must find someone in another heat that is willing to
switch.  All changes must be reported to the pit steward prior
to the start of the heat.

All drivers are expected to understand the meaning of all flags
and the simple signals that the flagman will use in conjunction with
the flags.  Any questions should be addressed to the flagman or pit
steward prior to racing events.  Any driver who does not obey the flag
rules and signals will be subject to fine and/or disqualifications.

Flags and their meanings are as follows:

Green Flag- Start or restart of a race, racing should start and
continue as long as the green flag is displayed.

Yellow Flag-  Caution!  Reduce speed and continue to circle the
track in single file holding the position occupied when the
yellow flag was displayed.

Red Flag-  Danger!  An accident has occurred or track conditions
make it unsafe to continue.  All drivers MUST stop.

Crossed Flags (furled)- Half of the scheduled number of laps
in the event have been completed.

White and Checkered Flags (furled)-  Two laps to go in the event

White Flag- One lap to go in the event.

Checkered Flag-  Even has been completed.  Each driver should
continue to race until he has received the checkered flag.

Blue Flag with Yellow Marker- Layover flag.  Indication that
faster cars are about to overtake and lap slower cars.  Cars receiving
the layover flag may continue to race but should not impede the faster cars.

Black Flag (furled)- Warning to car at which flag is pointed.  If accompanied
by a sign, driver must follow instructions immediately.

Black Flag (unfurled)- Car has been disqualified.  Driver should reduce
speed and enter pit area at nearest pit entrance.  Pit Steward will notify
driver or crew of reason for disqualification whether the car may continue
if the problem can be corrected.  Any car running more than two (2) laps
down or hopelessly out of competition and/or creating a hazard may
be black flagged at the starter's discretion.  After two (2) laps car
will be stopped being scored.
