Fuel and Ignition
Fuel cell is required, with bladder. Ignition switch should either
be
toggle or push and pull and be easily accessible to driver.
Ignition switch is mandatory. Any type fuel pump may be used.
Also, pressure system, but must have shut off valve in reach of
driver. No nitrous type fuel additives are allowed. Must have
shut off valve at fuel cell. A 28 gal. fuel tank is recommended.

Hoods
Race cars must contain hood and be fully painted with bright colors.
All cars must have hoods in place during warm-ups and competition.
Wings
Aluminum or metal single air foil design with a maximum size of
25 square feet measured by length at the longest point, times width
at the widest point. Physical dimensions not to exceed six (6) feet in
either
dimension at the longest point. Wing surface may not be hinged.
Maximum dimensions for front wings: 6 sq. ft. No double top wings,
no added air foil above top wing. Side panels must be a maximum height
of 30" and not to exceed more than four inches over length of wing cord.
For safety reasons, the bottom plane of the wing must be within 12"
of the front roll bar. No side wings. Metal wings only, 3" wicker
bill on top
of wing. A maximum of 1" turn up on a 90° angle allowed at rear
center foil. Center foil must be one (1) piece. The deepest point
allowed on the top surface of the top wing will be 2 1/2" measured
from the top front wing to the front edge of the 1" turn up at the rear
edge (or to the rear edge, if there is no turn up). No car will compete
without a top wing on the car.
Brakes
All cars must have brakes in good working condition.
Steering
Any safe steering may be used
Clutch
None allowed
Shock Absorbers
Any amount and type of shock absorber allowed,
but must be in good working order.
Paint
Car numbers must be painted neatly on both sides of
car and on top and both sides of wing.
Safety
No car is eligible where the safety factor is considered
lowered or insurance coverage affected.
Miscellaneous
No direct drive. Nerf bars are required and front
and rear bumpers are required.
All rules are subject to change with the
better interest
of racing and safety. The decision of the officials will be final.
The rules and/or regulations set forth
herein are designed to provide
for the orderly conduct of racing events and to establish minimum
acceptable requirements for such events. These rules shall govern
the condition of all events, and be participating in the events, all
participants are deemed to have complied with these rules.

of or compliance with these rules and/or regulations.
They are intended as a guide for the conduct of the sport, and are
in no way a guarantee against injury or death to a participant,
spectator or official.
The race director shall be empowered to
permit minor deviations
from any of the specifications herein or impose any further
restrictions in his opinion do not alter the minimum acceptable
requirements. No express or implied warranty of safety shall
result from such alteration of specifications. Any interpretation or
deviation of these rules is left to the discretion of the officials.
