Port Royal Speedway Plays Host to Appalachian Mountain Late Model Speedweek; 410 Sprint Cars Also on Hand
The Speed Palace is set to host an action-packed doubleheader, this Saturday June 7th, featuring the Appalachian Mountain Super Late Model Speedweek presented by Selinsgrove Ford and the Weikert’s Livestock 410 Sprint Cars. Both divisions will be competing for $5,000 to win, as some of the region’s top talent in the two premiere divisions will park themselves in the Port Royal Speedway pit area.
As part of the Appalachian Mountain Late Model Speedweek, a host of high-profile drivers are already committed to the series and expected to be in action. Names like Rick Eckert, Dylan Yoder, Jason Covert, Justin Weaver, Amanda Robinson, Hayes Mattern, Kyle Hardy, and many more will be battling it out on the Juniata County clay in time trial format competition.
410 Sprint Car drivers will also chase a $5,000 top prize as a part of their weekly $25,000 total purse, looking to match the weekly excitement the division has produced over the last few weeks.

In addition, all fans in attendance will be entered for several prize giveaways, including a Cuisinart CookFresh Digital Glass Steamer, a Jo Chef Outdoor Grill, and entries for the monthly 40’’ Vizio Smart TV giveaway, with the winner to be drawn on June 28.
