Port Royal Speedway Set for Two Big Nights of Central PA Speedweek Action July 2 & July 5
PORT ROYAL, Pa. – Port Royal Speedway is gearing up for two massive nights of racing this week as part of Central Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek, with back-to-back events scheduled for Wednesday, July 2 and Saturday, July 5.
Wednesday, July 2 – PA Sprint Speedweek & URC 360 Sprints | Presented by Fleet Reps
The midweek special will feature a double dose of winged excitement as the Weikert’s Livestock 410 Sprint Cars compete in time trials for $10,000 to win, while the United Racing Club (URC) 360 Winged Sprint Cars will race for a $2,000 payday.
Ticket prices for Wednesday’s action are:
General Admission: $30
Student (ages 13-17): $20
Kids 12 & under: Free
Pit Admission: $40
Event Schedule:
Pits Open: 4:00 PM
Gates Open: 5:00 PM
Hot Laps: 6:00 PM
Racing Begins: 7:00 PM
Fans in attendance can also enter into a special giveaway for a Cuisinart Air Fryer Toaster Oven with Grill. Meanwhile, kids 17 and under are encouraged to sign up for the Junior Fan of the Night program for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that includes:
Waving the green flag to start a qualifying race
A ride in the John H. Sheaffer Dodge pace truck
A hot dog and soda from Packer’s Concessions
A die-cast hauler from the novelty stand
A $10 food voucher courtesy of Juniata Med Trans

In a special tribute to Linda Ruth Showers, an additional Junior Fan between the ages of 13 and 17, will be drawn for the following prizes:
Two free general admission passes
A soda and slice of pizza from Packer’s Concessions
A $20 gift card to the Port Royal Speedway novelty stand
Saturday, July 5 – 7th Annual Greg Hodnett Classic | Sponsored by Ramsey’s Car Wash
PA Sprint Speedweek continues Saturday night with one of the most anticipated races on the schedule — the 7th Annual Greg Hodnett Classic, honoring one of the sport’s most respected competitors. The 410 sprint cars will once again time trial with a $15,000 winner’s share up for grabs.
Also on the card will be the Penske Racing Shocks Super Late Models, making their return to the Speed Palace for a thrilling night of high-powered action.
Jr. Fan of the Night will continue on Saturday as well as other fan drawings will be available just inside the general admission gates with the Port Royal Speedway Ministries team.
Fans can sign up both nights to be entered into the monthly drawing for a 40'' Vizio Smart TV that will be drawn at the end of the month.
