Port Royal Speedway Postpones Keith Kauffman Classic To May 16th Due to Forecasted Rain
PORT ROYAL, Pa. — Port Royal Speedway officials have announced that this Saturday’s highly anticipated Keith Kauffman Classic has been postponed due to forecasted rain expected throughout the day.
With the unfavorable weather expected to impact the local area, speedway officials made the decision with the best interest of fans, teams, and staff in mind, prioritizing safety and the overall event experience.
The Weikert’s Livestock 410 Sprint Car portion of the Keith Kauffman Classic has been rescheduled for Saturday, May 16th. The makeup event will still feature all previously announced contingencies, including bonus payouts, as well as the planned autograph session with Keith Kauffman and fan giveaways that were set to highlight the original date.
The portions of the program featuring the USAC East Coast Sprint Cars and wingless super sportsman divisions will be made up at a later date, which will be announced once details are finalized.
